| Refinery Earns VPP Merit Site Status (photo) Shell Deer Park Refining Company achieved recognition as a Merit Site in the OSHA Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) in May 2004 -- the first Shell-owned refinery to earn Merit status and one of only 1,100 Merit sites nationwide. Displaying the VPP flag are representatives from Shell Deer Park, OSHA and PACE Local 4-1 union. |
